- Me: what should i be for halloween?
- Mom: a tree.
- Me: no, i want to wear something cute...plus, i don't want to have to buy anything.
- Mom: what do you have to buy? you are already brown, just put something green on your head.
God help me. I just can NOT get over my attraction to this lady-boy. Damn you Zac Effron!

zefron isn’t as pretty/waxy as he used to be, so i think crushes are ok now. at least that’s what i’ve been telling myself.
The Get Up Kids - Holiday. Remember when Emo used to mean Emotional Punk and started with bands like Rites of Spring, Embrace, and Sunny Day Real Estate? You know, before it became a punchline for kids who didn’t understand the history of it and everyone started getting bad haircuts? Anyway, The Get Up Kids were one of the good ones.
And if you don’t know your history, go look it up, find out there’s a lot of great music involved and stop listening to Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. And never refer to anything or anyone as “the emo.” It’s not funny and if you want to make fun of something, make fun of goth kids. It’s the stereotype you meant to be making fun of the whole time, you just shifted your crosshairs at some point.
Just had to get that off of my chest. The roots of emo are as solid as those of hardcore, starting with guys like Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto. It’s just that no one seems to care about the history of anything. It’s the reason we repeat wars we don’t need to be in and why everyone loved The Departed but no one has seen Raging Bull.
still hoping for that rumored reunion next year…and still listening to fall out boy and my chem.
i just saw a real world cast member at angels and kings...
if i were on the real world, and mtv were picking up the tab when i went out, i would NOT be at a bar where drinks are only $6.
- Me: hmm...i need some long-sleeved t-shirts.
- Mom: you know where you should go? american apparel.
- Me: ...mom, is that you?
- Mom: what?! it's expensive, but their shirts are 100% cotton and they are good quality! you need shirts that'll last you a long time!
- Me: who have you been talking to!?
this is what i see when i go to log on to myspace now….A++++++. thank you, myspace. you know me well.
wow, whoever styled their hair must’ve put in some overtime. and spin, KoL don’t need to hit it big in the US…it’s hard enough to get tickets to see them as it is.
